SEPA and SWIFT transfers are sent out from the Bank transfer tab in the Transfers menu. If you make a payment in EUR to a country that is a part of the SEPA zone, it will fall under the SEPA transfer method. You can find the full list of countries that are a part of the SEPA scheme here.
If you make a transfer in GBP, USD, HUF, CZK, SEK, PLN, JPY, CHF, CAD, AUD, or transfer EUR to a country that is not part of a SEPA zone, your payment will fall under the international transfers category. Once you fill out the payment details and click the Send button, the payment provider will use an Intelligent Routing System. It will determine which transfer system will be used to send your payment: SWIFT or other transfer options, such as:
- Faster Payments;
- CHAPS;
- TARGET2.
The choice will be based on different factors, such as the currency you send money in, the beneficiary’s country, their bank, etc. Find the information on timeframes of international transfers’ execution here.
Please note that SWIFT transfers are currently available for business wallet users. To make and receive international payments you need to get account details first.
