Sole proprietor accounts are available to eligible Ukraine-registered individual entrepreneurs who already have an active Genome Personal Wallet.
Please note that Genome is not currently accepting new Personal Wallet registrations from Ukraine.
What can I use the account for?
A sole proprietor account allows you to:
- Receive business income in EUR via SEPA transfers;
- Send SEPA transfers and instant transfers to other Genome wallets;
- Exchange supported currencies;
- Make payments using a linked virtual or physical Genome Visa card.
How to open a sole proprietor account
- Sign in to Genome.
- On the dashboard, find Personal accounts and select +.
- Select Sole proprietor.
- Choose one of the available currencies, enter the account name, and select Add.
The available currencies are shown in your dashboard. Only the EUR account can receive funds via SEPA transfers.
How to find your account details
To receive a SEPA transfer:
- Select your sole proprietor account.
- Go to Top up.
- Select Account details.
- Share the displayed EUR account details with the sender.
Transfers and important restrictions
- You can send funds to other banks using supported SEPA transfer methods.
- Genome instant transfers can be used between your accounts and to send funds to other Genome clients.
- Sole proprietor accounts cannot be used to make donations.
- For financial reporting, keep a record of the National Bank of Ukraine's EUR-to-UAH exchange rate applicable when you receive income.
Card payments
Eligible clients can order virtual or physical Genome Visa cards and link them to their sole proprietor account. Cards can be used for online and in-person payments and added to supported digital wallets.
