What fees are applied for adding money by card?

Genome applies a fee for topping up your account by card. The fee depends on where the top-up is initiated.

Top-up by card (initiated in your Genome account) — you sign in to Genome and top up using your own card issued at another bank. Only a card issued in your name can be used. Fee: 3% for personal accounts, 5% for business accounts.

Top-up by card (initiated outside Genome) — your Genome account is topped up by card without you initiating the top-up in your Genome account. Fee: 1%, applied from 21 September 2026. The full amount is credited to your account, and the fee is charged as a separate transaction.

If a top-up is made in a currency not supported by your Genome account and card, a currency conversion fee applies as set out in Genome pricing for personal and business wallet users.
