How to top up my Genome Wallet?

Genome wallet can be topped up by bank transfer or by card:

1. To top up your wallet by transfer, you simply need to make a SEPA transfer to your Genome wallet from your other bank account. You can find your account details on the main screen of your wallet in the "Account details " section, or by selecting "Top up" and then "Account details". The top-up will be credited to your wallet within one business day, in line with the general SEPA transfer settlement times. You may also top-up your account via SEPA Instant incoming transfer, which processes within 10 seconds.

2. To top up your wallet by card, you will need to sign in to your wallet, then you will see a "+" button named "Top up" in the top right corner. By selecting this option, you will need to enter the details of the card issued by another bank (card number, expiry date, CVV2/CVC2, cardholder name, and amount) and click on "Top up" at the bottom of the page to confirm the transaction. You can only use your own card to top up your wallet. When selecting this type of top-up, your wallet will be credited immediately after the transaction is completed.

The own-card requirement applies to top-ups you initiate in your Genome account. Your Genome account can also be topped up by card without you initiating the top-up in Genome. In that case, the card used to fund the top-up may be issued in the name of any person, and a 1% fee applies from 21 September 2026. See Genome pricing for personal and business wallet users.

NOTE. Please note that top-up is available only in EUR currency. The minimum top-up amount by card is 10 EUR

IMPORTANT: When the transaction is initiated via the desktop version of Genome, please do not close the transaction window or click "Go to dashboard" until the top-up is fully executed. Otherwise, it will be declined.
