What does Genome currently offer for merchants?

Genome provides merchant account holders with tools to accept and manage online payments. The payment methods available to each merchant depend on their approved account configuration.

Pay by Bank — currently available

Pay by Bank is available through Genome’s Hosted Payment Page. Genome hosts the payment interface, and the merchant connects it to their website.

Pay by Bank supports:

1. SEPA Instant Credit Transfer: allows eligible customer payments to reach the merchant’s settlement account within seconds.
2. SEPA Credit Transfer: a standard transfer method available across SEPA countries when an instant transfer is unavailable or not used.

Visa and Mastercard card processing — Coming soon

Genome is preparing to introduce Visa and Mastercard card processing for eligible merchant account holders. Initial availability will be limited to approved low-risk businesses and will depend on the country of registration, industry and merchant category code, processing currencies, due diligence, risk approval and technical setup.

Approved merchants will be able to integrate card payments using:

• Genome’s Hosted Payment Page; or
• direct host-to-host integration, subject to applicable PCI DSS requirements and successful technical certification.
