According to the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Law of the Republic of Lithuania, financial institutions are obliged to collect information about politically exposed persons. The financial institution is required to carry out additional statutory procedures. Per the Genome T&C, when opening a Genome account, the customer guarantees that he is not a Politically Exposed Person (PEP), an immediate family member, or a close associate of PEP. The customer undertakes to inform us immediately as soon as he becomes any of the above.
