A Genome Business Wallet is available to eligible, officially registered companies. It must be opened by a company director or a representative acting under a valid power of attorney.
To open a Business Wallet, the company representative must have a verified Genome Personal Wallet.
Before you start
If you already have a verified Personal Wallet, sign in to Genome and continue with the Business Wallet application. Please do not create another Personal Wallet.
If you do not have a Personal Wallet, first check whether you are eligible to open one.
Unable to register for a Personal Wallet?
Submit a Business Wallet application. If your application is eligible to proceed, our team will contact you with the registration instructions. Register only after receiving confirmation and use the confirmed email address or phone number. All applications are subject to personal and business verification and compliance checks.
Please also check that:
- Your company is registered in a country listed as permitted for legal clients on our Legal regulations page.
- Your company does not conduct any prohibited business activity.
How to open a Personal Wallet
If you are eligible to register directly, or have received confirmation after submitting a Business Wallet application, follow these steps:
1. Provide your personal details
Enter your personal information exactly as it appears in your identification document.
2. Verify your phone number
Use your personal phone number rather than a company contact number.
3. Verify your email address
Use your personal email address rather than a general company inbox.
4. Provide the requested account information
Tell us how you plan to use your Wallet, including expected payment destinations.
5. Complete identity verification
Upload an accepted identification document and complete the selfie check.
Personal verification usually takes 15–20 minutes. In some cases, it may take 1–2 business days or require additional information.
How to open a Business Wallet
Once your Personal Wallet is verified, follow these steps:
1. Start a Business Wallet application
Sign in, select the option to add a new Wallet, and choose Business.
2. Confirm you are ready to continue
Review the introductory information and continue to the application.
3. Describe your business
Provide the business type, activities, number of employees, business model, and public procurement details where applicable.
4. Provide financial information
Enter the requested information about the company’s expected financial activity.
5. Enter company registration details
Provide the company’s official registration information.
6. Add the registration address
Enter the company’s official registered address.
7. Provide tax information
Select the company’s country of tax residency and enter its Tax Identification Number.
8. Explain why you need the Wallet
Select the reason for opening a Genome Business Wallet.
9. Add planned payment destinations
Select the countries from which you expect to receive transfers and the countries to which you plan to send them.
10. Submit company and ownership information
Upload the required company documents and provide the company’s ownership structure.
Please check that all information is complete and accurate before submitting the application. Business verification usually takes up to 3 business days, but it may take longer if we need additional information or documents.
