Starting a personal Genome wallet – My Genome Support

Getting your personal Genome wallet and IBAN is very easy and only a few steps away. For the fastest registration, download the Genome mobile application. Alternatively, you can register via the web version at https://my.genome.eu/ using your email or phone number. You will need to verify your account with a code sent via email or SMS, as shown in steps 6 and 7.

Make sure you are in the Personal wallet and proceed with the verification.
Provide your first and last name and date of birth (exactly as in your passport or ID card).
Choose your registered address. It must match the one that appears on your official documents.
If your registration address matches your home address, you can check the box to confirm it.
Choose your current home address. It should match the place you currently live in. If you selected that your registration address matches your current home address, this step would be skipped.
Enter and verify your phone number. If you already did it while creating the account, this step would be skipped.
Enter and verify your email address. If you already did it while creating the account, this step would be skipped.
Select your country of tax residency and enter your Tax Identification Number (TIN).
If you don’t have a TIN, check the box and provide a reason.
Specify the reason for opening your Genome account.
Select countries from which you expect to receive transfers. Please check the list of prohibited countries for clients, beneficiaries, payment destinations, and other relationships.

If you intend to transfer funds to the same countries, you can check the box to confirm it.
Select countries you plan to send transfers to. Please check the list of prohibited countries for clients, beneficiaries, payment destinations, and other relationships.

If you previously checked the box that confirms you intend to transfer funds to the same countries, this step would be skipped.
Select your document type and country of issuance (Ensure it is valid for at least one more month).
Complete the identity verification process using your mobile device. For a detailed guide, please refer to the article "Required documents for personal wallet's verification."
After submitting your details, verification typically takes 15-20 minutes, but in some cases, it may take up to 1-2 business days. You will receive a notification once your account is ready.
